Oregano essential oil

Description

Oregano essential oil is a powerful antibacterial agent. Studies have shown it to be effective against a wide range of bacteria.

Additionally, it has antiviral and antifungal properties.

For external use, it is effective for application on areas with inflammation (muscles, throat, abdomen) – diluted in a carrier oil.

It can also be used internally, but it is recommended only under the guidance of a certified practitioner. When used internally, the oil is aggressive and very strong (it can kill good bacteria as well).

It opens the airways and strengthens the upper respiratory system. For massage on the chest and back, it should be diluted in a carrier oil.

It is excellent for digestive issues, alleviating gas and stomach pain. For abdominal massage, it should also be diluted in a carrier oil.

The oil has purifying and balancing qualities. It can be dripped into the room or used in a burner/diffuser.

It should not be used as undiluted essential oil on the skin, only diluted in a carrier oil.

For external use only.
For an adult, use 10 ml of carrier oil (about a tablespoon) with 5-10 drops of essential oil.
For a child over 6 years old, use 10 ml of carrier oil with 4-6 drops of essential oil.
For infants, use the same amount with 1-2 drops of essential oil.
